This purpose is found in four key scriptures:
The Great Love: We love because He first loved us.--1 John 4:19
He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.—2 Corinthians 5:21
The Great Commandment: “Jesus said, ‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as your self. All the Law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.”--Matthew 22:36-40
The Great Commission: “Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.’’--Matthew 28:19-20

Our vision for 2018 is The Year of Rebuilding. I am excited to see what God will do in our midst as we commit to grow spiritually and numerically. Please pray that we will daily seek to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. “When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak God’s message with boldness.” (Acts 4:31).
